What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is that uneasy, nervous feeling that something might go wrong — the constant “What if?” running through your mind. Maybe you find yourself overthinking, stuck in a loop of worry, or even turning to certain habits or routines just to feel a sense of control. It can be exhausting — mentally and physically.
The truth is, a little anxiety isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually part of how we stay sharp, focused, and motivated. But when anxiety starts showing up too often, too intensely, or in situations where it’s not really helpful, that’s when it can get in the way of your daily life.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I’m here to help.
When Is It Time to Get Help for Anxiety?
When anxiety starts to feel like too much to handle, it can take a serious toll—physically, mentally, and emotionally. You might feel constantly drained, find it hard to sleep or eat, and feel like you’re carrying an invisible weight. Over time, it can start to affect your relationships, your job or school performance, and your overall well-being. If these signs feel familiar, it could be a sign that it’s time to reach out for support.
