Women's Counseling

Be the woman that you know you can be!

When to come in?

Women have unique experiences and perspectives. Dr. Yasmeen Khan can help you develop confidence, resolve trauma and crisis, break codependency, and create a sense of self-empowerment. She can be your mentor to repair the cycle of poor relationships and to guide you into new and healthy relationships.

How can it help?

Domestic Violence and Abuse: Abuse comes in many forms: physical, emotional, spiritual, sexual and financial. Abuse is about control. It is difficult to recognize abuse as the abuser does not always behave in an abusive manner. The cycle of abuse clearly shows that there are patterns of “nice behaviors” followed by abusive ones.

Our Therapy Process

Your first step is to call us to schedule your initial appointment. We will link you up with the therapist that we believe will be the best fit for you.

Your initial evaluation session provides an opportunity to establish rapport with the therapist and provide them with some background about yourselves and the reasons you are seeking therapy. In addition, they will be able to answer your questions regarding services, confidentiality, and what to expect in therapy.

At the end of your first session, if you decide to move forward with treatment, we will schedule further appointments. At your second appointment, we will create a treatment plan together that is compatible with your personality, needs, resources, and unique cultural background.
