Have you ever had a thought pop into your head that felt totally out of character—and left you wondering, “What does that say about me?” Whether it’s violent, taboo, or just plain disturbing, intrusive thoughts can be incredibly distressing. You’re not alone—and you’re not your thoughts.
When these thoughts start looping and lead to compulsive behaviors, checking, or avoidance, it may be OCD. And while OCD can feel all-consuming, there is a way through.
We support you using a gentle, integrative approach that blends:
- ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
- And clinical hypnosis, to help shift the deeper emotional and cognitive loops.
With IFS, we get to know the parts of you that are trying to protect you—yes, even the ones behind the intrusive thoughts. Clinical hypnosis helps you reconnect to your inner calm, gain perspective, and create new space around the thoughts that once felt so overpowering.
This isn’t about pushing thoughts away. It’s about healing what’s underneath them—and giving yourself the freedom to live without fear.

Our Therapy Process
Your first step is to call us to schedule your initial appointment. We will link you up with the therapist that we believe will be the best fit for you.
Your initial evaluation session provides an opportunity to build rapport with the therapist and provide them with some background about yourselves and the reasons you are seeking counseling. In addition, they will be able to answer your questions regarding services, confidentiality, and what to expect in therapy.
At the end of your first session, if you decide to move forward and work with that therapist, you will be asked to schedule further appointments. At your second appointment, we will create a treatment plan together that is compatible with your personality, needs, resources and your unique cultural background.
